Welcome to Bigbury on sea.

Bigbury is a large sandy beach in the south west of England. One of its key feactures in a blob of rock in the sea known as Burgh island. You can drive your car to the island at low tide but, it is not adviseable to park your car on the beach or drive to Bigbury island at high tide.

The beach is quite clean meaning that there is little chance is stepping in dog poo! Swimming can be dangerous because of the River Avon. The nearest town is Kingsbridge which is an ideal place to buy souvenirs.

Nearby is a second beach named Bantham, ideal for surfing.
