Loch Moidart on our 2008 cruise. This is one of our favourite anchorages. The top picture shows the view looking West of the entrance and to avoid the rocks close observance of the pilotage notes is required. While it does go very shallow in places (down to 2m just after low water) we have never had a problem entering this loch and it is well worth the effort for the secure anchorage it provides, the views and also the River Shiel which provides a very pleasant and picturesque walk.
