1 When using F1A the identification procedure is the following : Before the start of the identification transmission the carrier shall jump to a frequency 250 or 400 Hz below the nominal frequency and shall be morse-keyed to the nominal frequency. After the identification transmission, hence after at least 7 dot lengths, the frequency shall jump back to the nominal frequency.
