North London was a brighter place for having hosted this splendid event on 25th May 1996. Greek Natalie and American Gerald brought together two different cultures with one purpose - celebration.
Married at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Golders Green, highlights in a full church included a novel new name for the groom and a linking crown symbolising the two becoming one.
Bridal party and 150 guests moved on to the Hendon Hall Hotel, from whence the victorious England football team departed in 1966. (Information thrilling, no doubt to the assembled Brits!). This team were no less impressive, the six bridesmaids, six groomsmen, two best men and two page boys being more than able to take on the world.
After the wedding breakfast, the emotional speeches were dived into with gusto and to a live band, the dancing immediately began. And what a party it was! Wild American and English dancing was followed by wild Greek dancing interspersed with songs from Disney sung by a Irish-American Catholic Priest.
We wish Gerald and Natalie every blessing and future happiness together.
