19th February 7.30 - AGM and social evening at Bridge-end.
24th February 6.45 - One hour theory session at Clickimin meeting room aimed at 4* topics.
2 March 6.45 - One hour theory session at Clickimin meeting room aimed at 4* topics.
9 March 6.45 - One hour theory session at Clickimin meeting room aimed at 4* topics.
16 March 6.45 - One hour theory session at Clickimin meeting room aimed at 4* topics.
24 March - Beginners pool sessions start with a come-and-try-it night followed by 5 theory/practical sessions in the Clickimin Pool.
4 May - Outdoor Thursday night sessions start at Bridge-End.
Early May - Tuesday evening and weekend trips start, Wednesday evening training sessions start.
7-10th July 2000. Shetland Sea Kayak Symposium at Bridge-end - see page 5.
14 - 16th July 2000. Annual weekend at Papa Stour. Paddling open to all at 2 star level. Others not quite there and non-paddling partners more than welcome to come and stay the weekend and enjoy the social aspects. If weather and sea conditions are favourable we will be trying to enter as many caves and passages as possible on this small island with astounding coastal scenery.
September - Outdoor season for coaching finishes - pool sessions for existing members begins.
Winter - Surfs up for all who are keen to brave the dipping sea temperatures and try this exhilarating aspect of paddling in kayaks and wave skis.
