The Sister Act Dance Company is an all female company presenting dance as an integeral part of the music, harmonising with and enhancing it. The company was born in 1999 from the desire of two sisters, Sara and Fiona, to perform their differing dance styles together.

The Sister Act Dance Company specialise in traditional percussive dance, we can also present other non percussive styles too. Our material is drawn from several dance genres including Appalachian clogging, Irish step dance, English clog and French Canadian stepping. We are continually researching dance styles with a view to extending the repertoire and adding new interest to our show.

The Sister Act Dance Company can present their dancing in a format suitable for concert venues, theatres or outdoor arena's. Our current show has been designed to be very flexible, allowing excerpts to be taken out for presentation in smaller shorter shows and displays. The complete show lasts approximately 45 minutes and takes you on journey through astounding dance and compelling music.

Sister Act also offer workshops in all our dance styles at all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced. Our latest development is a cross rhythms workshop using both Irish and Appalachian steps working together. All workshops are tailored to suit the event. In addition to the dance workshops we can also offer music workshops, where you can share experiences and learn from our long suffering musicians!
