2. Sufficient perch space, 7” per bird. Perches made of 2” x 1.5” prepared timber. |

3. House at ground level for winter warmth and summer coolnes. |

4. Nest Boxes sited in the darkest area of the house. |
|
5. Easy Accessibility for cleaning, feeding and watering. |
|
6. If slatted floor, the slats are 1” x 1” square and 1” of space between them. |

7. The use of an oil based wood preservative for better house protection. |
