You've landed in the Midden

welcome to my first attempt

Thanks for dropping by,  the space for this page was provided by my ISP, ZETNET.
You could do yourself a favour and go and see what they have to offer!

Enough of the commercials, lets get on.

A little bit about myself and my interests:

Well,I'm a farmer married to the lovely Agnes with two sons. (I had to put that in case she reads this!)
David who's 19 (and studying Computer Games Technology at Abertay University,Dundee) and Graeme who's 15. - Both of them are hardcore TFC players = Big Phone bills :(

Here's a few links to sites that I found interesting & useful , most of them are software related.

One link is to a site that explains my whole reason for becoming interested in the Internet, it's a support site for Multiple Sclerosis sufferers .

In 1994 I was diagnosed as having MS, I'm one of the fortunate victims of this disease in that I appear to be totally unaffected by it; however in common with other people with MS I've had to come to terms with the fact that today I'm doing things that I might never be able to do again!

The WWW and Usenet have many resources which can provide information and support for the sufferers of this and many other diseases, you've only got to seek and you'll find them!

You could try the newsgroup alt.support.mult-sclerosis , I found this to be a very good source of up to date information. Also all the people in this newsgroup provide a great deal of support for each other.

Whilst I was trawling the Web for info about M.S. I found an interesting F.A.Q. which is slightly out of date, but most of the info found in it is still very relevant. ( Also it's more than your Neurologist will probably explain to you! )

Also I've compiled a page of links which might be of interest to people who are trying to find a little bit of information about Multiple Sclerosis.

I hope it's of some use to somebody!
