Interlink is a utility program which comes with MS-Dos 6, it consists of a two drivers, INTERLNK and INTERSVR. To allow interlink to function you require either a Null Modem serial cable or an Interlink Parallel cable.
Put simply you require to set one PC as a server, running INTERSVR and
the other as a client, running INTERLNK. Once the initial connection is
made all the drives on the Server shoul appear as remote drives on the
Client. Interlink allows you to transfer files between the two PCs just
like a LAN. For further details on setting up Interlink please see
the documentation provided with Dos 6.
The cable is constructed using two 25 Way 'D' Male connectors with
the Pins connected as per the diagram below.
