Glenn joined in February 1995 for £2.3m from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem and made his debut against Nottingham Forrest. He was born on October 28th, 1968 in Leiden in Holland and is a product of Ajax's brilliant youth system. Glenn moved to Rotterdam to get first team football with Sparta in 1989. After four seasons, he joined Vitesse in a deal worth £250,000. He is a Dutch international and gained his first cap against France in the 1994/95 season.
