Gowerton to Llanelli (Estuary views to Millennium Coastal Park)

{short description of image} End of off-road section from Swansea. You will need your wits about you as negotiate the alley ways and back streets of Gowerton, but only for a mile or so........ {short description of image} to where the Gowerton bypass starts with a pavement cycle path
{short description of image} Carry on along the bypass until you can turn right into Pont y Cob road signposted Loughor - pronounced Luchor (ch as in loch). You will pass a Caravan Club site within half a mile. {short description of image} Follow this minor road into and through Loughor village heading generally West to arrive at Loughor Bridge.........
{short description of image} at the far end of which you get back off-road, courtesy a splendid new foot/cycle bridge. You will see its like again in Llanelli {short description of image} Good to get back off-road! Track now follows estuary shore line all the way to Llanelli
{short description of image} No problems with route finding apart from where track doglegs across approach road to the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust {short description of image} Track follows below line of Sea Defences but with frequent view points as here - estuary behind camera. Good for birdwatching
{short description of image} You are now approaching Llanelli with the track back to road standard and a series of small, usually quiet, beaches {short description of image} Llanelli Millenium Promenade created from industrial dereliction. Ride to the end and make your choice !
