The slide was one of the big successes of the camp, it started out just as a roll of builders polythene on the hillside. A quick squirt of washing up liquid and a bit of water and suddenly the hill was full of Scouts and I couldn't get a go.

Well soon that was not enough and extra bits of polythene were added, and then some old ground sheets and eventually, the slide reached the loch and the nutters purpose was to reach the loch after a running jump from the top.

It started out with one or two, then a couple more joined and eventually the whole camp joined in.

The more observant will notice that there is a face which appears in most of these pictures. James (CSL Thursday cubs) only went on the slide to ensure that safe practices and procedures were followed.
He did not enjoy it one little bit :-)
