This race is an open invitation event for boats having a Portsmouth Number of 1175 and faster, with a maximum limit of 20 feet overall hull length.

£6 for double handers or £3 for single handers, which sum includes temporary Club membership for competitors and their guests, for the duration of the event.

Governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), RYA prescriptions, Class and WSC local rules.

Rule RRS ( personal buoyancy) is changed by the sailing instructions, which require personal buoyancy to be worn at all times whilst sailing.

This is required, on the appropriate document, not later than half an hour before the initial start.

Not before 12.00 noon for the slowest craft. A table of start times will be displayed for other faster craft.

5 minutes before the initial start.

Finishing positions will be directly related to actual finishing order on the lake, at the end of the 3 hour period, timed from the initial start.

These will be determined in relation to the number of entries.

Each craft entered to have a minimum of one million pounds third party insurance cover for the particular craft and its user(s), including cover whilst engaged in racing. Camping is not permitted inside the Club grounds.
