Wimbleball is a huge picturesque lake of 385 acres on Exmoor National Park.

We have a growing fleet of fourteen Spernova’s and expect to have twelve local boats racing.

Registration will take place at Wimbleball Sailing Club starting at 10:00 am Saturday 7th June 2008. There will be a briefing for competitors at 11:00am and race 1 will commence at 11.30. Racing will be carried out in the format of one race in the morning followed by two races back to back after lunch.

The entry fee for the event is: £7.00. Entries must be made on the event entry form available on the day, and must be received together with cash or cheque, payable to Wimbleball Sailing Club.

Sailing Instructions will be issued upon registration at Wimbleball Sailing Club.

The event will be scored using the low points system. The event will consist of three races. There will be one discard.

Additionally to the standard prizes there will be handicap prize and a team prize (best three boats within a team)

A variety of food will be available thought the day with a barbeque on Saturday evening for those wishing to stay and race with the home fleet on the Sunday.

There are many local activities such as walking and cycling with spectacular paths around the lake. There are good pubs and shops in the nearby village of Dulverton.
