City PlugIn FAQ

Q. My Picture is Blank/Black?
-
A. Make sure that you have a Camera and Light and that the
Camera and Light are outside the box that the City resides in -i.e. pull
the Camera back to Y-320 and Z+200 and the Light to Z+80.
-
A. Make sure that the .mdl file is not
called city.mdl as if you have put the city include files in the povscn
directory Moray will overwrite Chris's city.inc file with it's own file
(containing the textures for the scene). One way round this is to put the
city include files in the Povray Include directory.
-
A. If you have called the .mdl file city.mdl. Whats happening
is that Moray outputs the files city.ini, city.inc, and city.pov to the
Moray Povscn directory and the city plugin puts the line #include "city.inc"
at the end of the city.pov file as it needs to load in Chris' city.inc
file to render the city. Now what happens is that the file that Moray created
gets loaded instead of the proper city.inc file since it's being rendered
from the Moray Povscn directory and due to the way windows works it will
look for the include files as a defualt in the current directory first
- that is the Moray Povscn directory. What you need to do is rename the
city.mdl to say mycity.mdl you can do this in Moray with the 'save as'
menu item. Then you need to delete the city.inc file in the Moray Povscn
directory and all will be well with the world.
-
A. If when you look in the Povray Message window it says
'wrong version' or something similar, then remove the version line in the
Moray.ini file (it's at the bottom of the file and looks something like
this.... version = 3 (use notepad to edit the file). The Moray.ini file
resides in the Moray main directory, you may also want to remove the *.ini
file that Moray creates in the Povscn directory for the file that you wish
to render.
Liquid Spray PlugIn FAQ
-
Q. My Picture is Blank/Black?
-
A. This is usually caused by putting the Spray include files
in the povscn directory - Moray overwrites the spray.inc file if you have
called the mdl file spray.mdl - One way round this is to put the spray
include files in the Povray Include directory.

A. You must make sure the Configuration option 'Automatically
