They're happy!

Damien and Melissa Brousse
20th December 1997

Hey - the middle of winter - and it didn't rain! (Or did it? - I can't remember) A spiffing wedding in Kensington and Chelsea on the last shopping Saturday before Christmas. Melissa works in fashion and no doubt her knowledge of the industry helped  to source her absolutely stunning dress. Covered in pearls, 'you just had to feel it!'

There were two services - a civil one a Searcy's and then a church service at Kensington Old Church where, apparently (photographers banned), the vicar caused some amusement with a liberal interpretation of the order of service. There are liberals everywhere in the Church of England.(Allegedly)

Back to Searcy's for a buffet and chat so vibrant that the string quartet had trouble making themselves heard. Least it saves time having to bother tuning up. The multinational crowd (many of Damien's family are French) were brilliantly entertained by the speakers including the bestman (shown here), who produced some remarkable insights into the state of marriage. Even more remarkable as he is single.

As Damien and Melissa sped off into the darkness in her father's Triumph, a happy congregation wandered home... eventually.

Melissa & DadYes, it's a formal shot, but such a beautiful location!Plenty of room on the way to church!Varoooom! He did'nt wear it all day..."The man means 'later', the woman means 'NOW!'"You gotta feel this dressBeautiful
