Married in sunny Ewell, it was sadly not that sunny on the 11th although the ducks had a lovely time. In fact, so did Val & Marc as nothing prevented them from beaming their way through the ceremony and much of the rest of the day too.

There were two ceremonies, the first a legal registry service. Immediately that finished, guitars and keyboards appeared and a Christian worship and celebration service followed.

As the guests mingled outside the main hall it was re-laid as the reception.

Marc is one of the few British people to hold a Diploma of Clowning (from the States, of course) and references to this and his work on the Internet (allegedly constant) were made during the speeches. A variety of presents were given out, including the small box of cornflakes below.

An excellent, informal event with a touch of joy.
