A look-out post. The trees are bare of leaves. In the centre of the photo, a ladder snakes up around the trunk of a tall tree, providing access to three small platforms at different heights. Lookouts man the lower and middle platforms. At the bottom of the card is written the date 'Mar 1917'.

A battle-scarred landscape. Written at the bottom is the date 'Feb 1918'.

Another battle-scarred landscape. Craters and debris fill the foreground, and a ruined village can be seen on a ridge in the distance.

No wings, but they're all OK. Pilot and gunner stand in front of their aeroplane. The wings are missing, and the propeller is buckled, but otherwise it shows little damage.

Not so fortunate. A slightly blurred figure stands on the far side of the heaped wreckage of a crashed aeroplane.
