A large group of men wearing an assortment of uniforms pose in a muddy street in front of a timber framed building.

A view of a wide unpaved street or square, with men standing around in the distance. Several are standing near what may be a wooden water trough. May be a scene from a prisoner of war camp?

A large crowd of men, most wearing uniform, stand on a country track (with trees in the background). They appear to have been hunting, and an array of animal carcasses are arranged on the ground in front of the men.

Two soldiers pose formally, side by side. A large dog sits in front of them.

Twelve soldiers pose for a formal group photograph, in front of a tall hedgerow. Seven men stand at the back, three are kneeling just in front of them, and two men are reclining on the ground at the front of the group.

A man stands at the entrance to a sunken building, his arms around the waists of the two young women flanking him. He is pulling a comic face.

Writing at the bottom of the photograph mentions 'Hilnau (or Wilnau) Theater'.
